GABE WEXLER: LEAD VOCALS / FRONTMAN

Gabe Wexler is an independent artist of many pursuits. He loves honest artistic expression and exploring what it is to be human. Along with being a singer/song writer in Dying Blynd, Gabe writes, directs, and produces independent films and authors and publishes independent literature. He has also done commercials, music videos, and designed web sites. Gabe aspires to create art that will both entertain and move his audience to think deeper than they ever have before. BROOK NELSON: GUITAR / BACK-UP VOCALS

Brook started forming metal bands in high school.  He went through a few garage bands before settling in a band out of Wyoming called SIN for SIN.  SIN for SIN met with success and had gained a fan-base throughout the southern Wyoming/northern Colorado area, but that wasn't to be.  A career change for the lead singer took him to Texas and the band split up.  Brook went on to Colorado pursuing higher education and after graduating from CBC, began to put together other bands, playing as Life Unknown, Second Hand Adam, Captive Rising and finally Dying Blynd.  He has opened for acts such as Rackets & Drapes, Mortification, Subseven and Disciple.

GARY FARNON: BASS GUITAR / BkUp Vocals

Gary played with his first band, Desolate Child, in the Houston area. In high school, he  played with many rock bands, including No Prejudice, with his long time friends Damon Flax and Mack Bean. While in college, he even played rhythm guitar and background vocals in a country band!. He doesn't like too many people to know this, so please keep this to yourself. Musical influences include Stryper, Dream Theater, Counting Crows, Queensryche (George Strait), and RUSH, his favorite band, which has influenced him the most. Before Dying Blynd, Gary and Brook, with friend Chris Moraine, and ARMY bud Jimmy Kendrick,  formed Second Hand Adam, opening for Subseven and Disciple.

EM GOULD: DRUMS

Em started drumming at the age of nine, her biggest influences being Travis Barker and Blink 182. Taking on countless lessons, exorbitant practice, studying numerous punk/metal/rock bands, she steadily became a better drummer. The last few years she has played with a few different bands, only one of which was serious. The last band, Truth Prevails, made it to the recording studio. She also had the opportunity to try out and record with Michael Scott-Parker of Oh-My!. Michael's indie attitude and professionalism strongly influenced Em's career and style. Playing with Dying Blynd is a new challenge, one she's ready to meet head-on, drumming with passion and working with the band to further evolve their sound. Now in her last year of high school, Em intends to pursue drumming as a career. Em also has a love of painting. Some of her work can be viewed HERE.

FEATURING, SAMUEL WEXLER : VIOLIN

Some of Dying Blynd's music features violinist, Samuel Wexler. Samuel began playing violin in the third grade, displaying particular talent and aptitude for the instrument. Samuel took interest in music in general rapidly progressing as he dabbled in piano, guitar, and percussion, among other instruments. Samuel is deeply inspired by Itzhak Perlman and practices for hours a day, diligently striving for technical and musical achievement. Samuel is currently a Violin Performance major at Colorado State University, and has played the likes of Carnegie Hall, the Sydney Opera House, and as far as New Zealand.  Samuel serenades at parties, teaches private lessons, plays in a quartet, and is now very excited to get to contribute his creativity and ability in an entirely new venue with Dying Blynd. And yes...he is brother to Gabe Wexler.
